One front desk.Every way a guest gets in touch.

One assistant answers guests on every channel, from the same live property data, and hands off to staff the same way. It is not a standalone voice add-on. It is the whole front desk, connected to the property's MyPMS.

callPhone

Answers calls in a natural voice, in English or Spanish. Rings the desk first, or answers every call: the property chooses.

micWeb Talk

Guests tap the mic on the property's website or BookingCenter's website and talk to it in the browser. No phone call and no phone line needed. Each plan includes as many Web Talk minutes as phone minutes.

forumWeb chat, SMS and WhatsApp

The same assistant answers in writing, in ten languages, on the property's website and numbers.

support_agentA person when it's needed

It hands the caller to staff, with a summary, when the caller asks or insists on a person, or when it can't resolve the request itself. Handoffs happen within the property's working hours. Outside them, it takes a message for staff. In an emergency it tells the caller to dial 911.

Maya is the front desk of Cedar Cove Inn, a fictional 12-room inn. Call her, or chat with her as a guest. Try: “Two nights next Friday, it's our anniversary”, or ask in Spanish.

The channels your AI Agent covers, plus the phone.

Your AI Agent today doesn't answer the phone. Guests at small properties still call first, and those calls go to voicemail when the desk is busy or closed. During the pilot it runs alongside your current AI Agent. After the pilot, it can keep running alongside it, or replace it, at your choice.

Connected to each property's MyPMS.Not a standalone line.

The front desk will read each property's live data from MyPMS through the APIs BookingCenter already publishes. We build this connection in the pilot. A guest then gets today's answer, not a stale one.

event_availableAvailability and rates

Real rooms and today's rates, including rate updates, so it never offers a sold-out room or an old price.

policyPolicies

Cancellation, deposit, pets and children, as set in MyPMS.

Times, late arrival and early departure rules.

edit_calendarBookings and changes

Saved in MyPMS under the property's own rules, once BookingCenter approves write access.

Access is read only first. Write access starts only with BookingCenter's written go-ahead, and BookingCenter can turn it off at any time. No card numbers are taken by voice.

What each feature does, for BookingCenter and for each property.

Run the numbers.Your scenarios, your values.

Two calculators: what BookingCenter earns, and what one property gets. Start from an example, then move any slider.

What BookingCenter earns

Your margin is the difference between your retail price and the partner price.

Property sizes
Example: BookingCenter's margin each year–

Illustration from the values entered, once that many properties are live. It leaves out ramp-up time, cancellations and extra minutes. Not a forecast or an offer.

What one property gets

Counts only the calls nobody answers today, so the estimate stays cautious.

A pilot with one or two properties, run alongside what they use today.

BookingCenter chooses the properties. We implement the front desk for them at no cost. Nothing is switched off: the property's current phone, messaging and booking systems keep running as they are.

  1. Week 1: learn the property. We go over its rooms, rates, policies and how it uses MyPMS, BookingCenter grants MyPMS API access under a mutual NDA, and we set up read access.
  2. Week 2: connect and train. We connect to MyPMS for live availability, rates, rate updates, cancellation policies and check-in and check-out times. The property's team then tests it internally. BookingCenter and the property approve it before any real guest reaches it.
  3. Weeks 3 to 6: parallel run. It answers live on a pilot number, alongside the current setup, and nothing is switched off. Guests reach the pilot number from the property's website and booking emails, and staff can transfer calls they can't take to it. We review it each week with the property.
  4. End of pilot: decide together. BookingCenter and the property decide whether to roll it out, alongside the current AI Agent or in its place.

task_altWhen the pilot counts as a success. The pilot takes six weeks: two weeks of setup, then four weeks of live answering. At the end, BookingCenter and the pilot property check four measures together:

  1. Correct answers: at least 90% of reviewed answers are correct from the property's own information, with no wrong rate or policy given on a booking request.
  2. Calls answered: at least 95% of the calls it receives are answered.
  3. No lost leads: every caller who asks for a person, or needs one, reaches staff in working hours or gets a message passed on.
  4. Owner sign-off: the property's own team rates it ready to keep.

Either side can stop the pilot at any time.

Terms for the pilot.

These cover the pilot only. Service levels, support times and full terms come next, in a written agreement after the pilot.

Source of answersThe front desk answers only from information that is public on the property's and BookingCenter's websites, held in the property's MyPMS, or given to it during implementation.
Errors and omissionsStartupCrafters, its founders, officers, affiliates and partners are not liable for answers that depend on information that was missing, incomplete or out of date in those sources, or that was never given to the front desk.
Parallel runThe pilot does not replace any current system. The property confirms bookings and requests through its usual process.
Phone numbers and minutesDuring the pilot, StartupCrafters provides and pays for the pilot phone number, minutes and texting. The property's own line stays exactly as it is: guests reach the pilot number from the property's website and booking emails, or when staff transfer a call. When BookingCenter signs the agreement and rolls out, the property can forward its existing line, so its number never changes. Any number we set up can be transferred to BookingCenter or the property on request.
Recording and disclosureEvery call begins with a disclosure that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant and that the call may be recorded. Callers can ask for a person at any time. California law requires everyone on a call to agree to recording, and the disclosure covers this. We keep recordings and transcripts for 90 days by default, or for another period that BookingCenter or the property asks for, within what the law allows.
Data and privacyAll guest and property data belongs to BookingCenter and its properties. We use it only to run the service and never sell it or use it for marketing. We take no card numbers by voice. Outside providers we use (phone carrier, AI model, hosting) are listed on request and bound by the same terms.
NDA and ownershipWe're happy to sign a mutual NDA before the first call. StartupCrafters owns its platform. BookingCenter owns its brand, customer relationships and data. Any BookingCenter-specific integration work is covered in the agreement after the pilot.

A 15-minute call,then a pilot.

  1. A 15-minute call. We walk through the product, the pricing and the pilot. You tell us where it's wrong.
  2. Pick the properties. You choose one or two. We sign a mutual NDA and a short pilot agreement.
  3. Six weeks: implement and run in parallel. Then we decide together on the rollout.
